Meet the Team
Jane Hogan & John Buchenan
Jane and John are the Co-Founders of AL-AN, with over 60 years of combined manufacturing experience. John is a third-generation engineer. He began his formal career at Packaging Industries in Hyannis and has held several technical, operational, and management positions at other manufacturing facilities before he and Jane launched their own company in Sandwich, MA in 2000.
Anne-Marie Buchenan
Anne-Marie returned to AL-AN in 2021, with 8 years of prior experience in the manufacturing industry. She holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Olin College of Engineering. Anne held positions supporting Secondary Processing (finishing and machining) at Pace Industries before moving to the Quality Department there. While leading Quality, Anne spearheaded such projects as transitioning the Quality Systems from ISO9001:2008 to ISO9001:2015 and, eventually, to AS9100D.
Alyce Buchenan
Alyce returned to AL-AN in 2021, with nearly a decade of prior experience in management, operations, and quality. Before re-joining AL-AN, she held a number of roles at vivitide (formerly New England Peptide). While there, she led the Synthetic Department of over 20 individuals on 3 shifts as Senior Production Manager. Later, she transitioned to lead the Quality Department, where she developed and implemented a centralized Quality Management System, and was instrumental in harmonizing the quality and operations between the Gardner and Louisville sites. Alyce received her Bachelor of Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
